Two words: PRALINE BACON The bacon is so good it should be a crime. They give you four pieces and aren't shy with the praline topping. I really could've had two plates, lol. The seafood guy was late, so we almost missed having the eggs florentine. Our waitress informed us he had made the delivery and we were able to get the eggs florentine. Im so happy he made the delivery. These oysters were perfectly seasoned. Like seasoned, so good you start rethinking life choices. Why is this my first time having this dish? The eggs are poached and once broken, it releases a silk yolk that brings the dish together. Now i got the half portion. I can't imagine eating a whole order by myself. Elizabeth's is a treat not to miss on any trip to New Orleans.

Elizabeth's was recommended in a couple of Eater articles and we've already been twice. The food is awesome and the Pineapple Jalapeno Margaritas and Espresso Martinis are fabulous. We loved their Crispy Korean Brussels Sprouts, Praline Bacon, Bananas Fosters French Toast, & Eggs Elizabeth. And as a bonus, we always get sat right away. We adore the server and bartenders here - they are all very personable and entertaining. If you're looking for a good breakfast place, it's a good time :)

Over the years visiting from the Bay Area I have been to Elizabeth's three times and it seems never written a review. Never had an "average" meal here for breakfast or lunch and this last time took our sister in law here for the first time. She had to order the praline bacon and as usual, it was declared fantastic. Grits were excellent. Great space with a surprising number of tables beyond the nice front room area. Great service and value as well. A "must do" when in New Orleans.

This cute restaurant is located quite out of the way from the main areas of the city, in what appears to be an industrial arts district. It was a nice midday break from the hustle and bustle. Service was amazing -- I couldn't decide on what to order because I wanted to order two different things. Then I asked our server Billy what boudin balls are, and then I wanted to order 3 different things. Billy highly recommended the boudin balls, so went with that. He also had a ton of other recs about places in NOLA to share, which we greatly appreciated. Awesome guy! The food was great! My friend and I ordered to share: - Shrimp po'boy - Fried green tomatoes - Praline bacon - Boudin balls It doesn't seem like a lot of food, but we weren't able to finish everything. And everything was so so tasty -- my eyes lit up when I had my first bite of those boudin balls. Would totally come back next time I visit!

We frequent the French Quarter, but will start making the By Water community a part of our hunt. This was a fantastic find. If you are looking for Cajun with a twist-this is your spot. We started with the boudin balls on stoneground mustard. My husband ordered the cold smoked ribeye, and I ordered the redneck eggs. His was a hearty portion that included potatoes. I had a hollandaise and poached egg combo on fried green tomatoes. The server was helpful, and fun. Great, fun spot.

With no reservation on a Monday morning My partner and I were able to walk directly into this establishment and immediately get seated. We were on the second floor so we actually had a view of the parking lot across the street where we parked our vehicle.. ample parking that is a super plus. The portions are huge. Things come out quickly. Everything was delicious. I feel awful because I cannot remember our waitress name but she was amazing. If she's reading this I hope she enjoys the Megan the stallion and glorilla concert she bought tickets for. What can I say, I don't know how you're able to keep your weight below a thousand pounds if you live in New Orleans. It seems everyone can cook and this was no different. If I had more stomachs I would have tried more things on this menu but for what I had it was amazing. 5 out of 5 recommend.

After other brunch plans ran into some unexpected twists, we ended up here, and despite being a weekend, they were able to accommodate us in a reasonable time! As soon as we stepped inside, it smelled delicious. We were guided upstairs, and all sat at a long table. Service was quickly efficient and hospitable. We got waters, and decided to get just one mimosa... we should've read more closely though. One mimosa has half a bottle of champagne in it. Was it good though? Well, umm... yes. It came in a nice souvenir cup too! There were many appealing options for entrees, but I decided on the french toast burrito... I've only had that at one of my favorite local restaurants, so I had to try another one to compare. This one had more traditional ingredients, like scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese inside... it was delicious! We all had a great time chatting and vibing in this homey restaurant. I tried random nibbles from what the others got, and I've got no complaints! Last thing to note -- in addition to their physical menus, they have special brunch items on a little easel too. Those looked awesome, and I'm willing to bet they change from time to time.

I've never really had lunch here. We've always had breakfast so I wanted to try lunch. I was very happy that they had something called a tequila waffle which is fried shrimp, cilantro& lime remoulade sauce with coleslaw and a jalapeño cornbread waffle. The waffle was savory and just enough food to make me feel full, if I order it again, I'll ask for more sauce or maybe some syrup for the last few . The staff here is always great. It's nice to go in when it's not super busy. I was there around 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I was able to sit at the bar get food with only a few others at the bar. Food came really fast and their famous Bloody Mary, made it a relaxing lunch. Elizabeth is a must try, hidden restaurant in the Bywater. Most tourists don't know about it. We're lucky enough to live about eight blocks away .

I have never in my life experienced such a unique creation as a French toast burrito, but let me tell you, I would easily eat this again. The tortilla was mixed in with French toast and the inside was all burrito. Absolutely wonderful breakfast and quick service. 10/10 would go here again.

First come, first serve on weekends! The service here was fantastic. We got a very warm southern like welcome and were seated instantly. Check the chalk board for daily specials, once they are out it'll get erased. Everything we had was tasted awesome and was fresh. The Bloody Mary's were a hit served in custom Mardi-Gras like plastic cups. The main feature on most of the dishes offered was a Poached egg cooked to perfection. I highly recommend you get them. The oysters on the Florentine dish was cooked to perfection! Don't skip on Elizabeth's. Support this local business...Enjoy.
